Meet Jada!

She has set some personal goals in her life that she wishes to achieve. One of them being to try something completely out of her comfort zone. So, she thought she would try a bellydancing class. She can honestly say she is addicted. It is such a

stress reliever and she is always excited to come learn something new each class. She has made new friends and acheived a personal goal...What more could you ask for! "Life is Good!"

Meet Kawthar!

"I am having a great time learning the art of bellydancing!" she states emphatically! She is a Fine Arts Student at RCCC and enjoys many aspects of the arts: bellydancing is a fantastic journey into the performing arts. "It is also a great way to enjoy 'girl time' with good friends!" She started taking classes with two friends of hers, and they are enjoying their "joint venture" very much!

Meet Lulwa!

She chose to learn bellydance to break outside her normal routine. "I love to be around my friends and meet new people with the same interests"...and who can teach her new dances! She also loves to shag with her husband (who is one of the "master prop finders for the company" ..she has been dancing since her teens...and STILL loves it!

Meet Shamara!

She has been a dance enthusiast since childhood! She has fond memories of her first classes and recitals in grade school. She enjoys dance as both art and exercise. In addition to bellydance she has taken lessons in Jazz dance and Ballroom dance! Her dance name means "Ready for Battle!"...(and I would just bet she is!!! side note: Her husband is NDC's brain for sets/unusual props and is also the troupe's Master Drummer...more to come on that!......AND....her daughter is the future generation of NDC....just you wait!)

MEET AURORA! She's a lover of the arts, having dabbled in painting, drawing, playing guitar and sang in chorus for six years, she's a newcomer to dance. "Bellydancing is so beautiful, I was dying to try it!" She enjoys learning at any level and has found dancing to be a great way to exercise the mind and body." She just started and already likes the sights, sounds, costumes and pageantry! She has also already volunteered for her first show, and she is ready to go! We are delighted to have her as an addition to the team!

Meet our tiniest dancer: KARISSA

Karissa loves to dance! She dances with her brother and her parents when they watch "The Lawrence Welk Show". She dances with her mommy when daddy plays his doumbek. Even when she goes up front for the children's lesson in church she does it with a 'little skip' in her walk! You go, tiny dancer!
