Nadirah's Bio

Nadirah has studied various forms of dance since childhood, with an emphasis on ballet and jazz. She discovered bellydance several years ago under the tutelage of Sidnoir. Her love of the art form inspired her to further professional training under Ansuya and Jillina, taken workshops with Suhaila and Ava Fleming, world renowned bellydancers and teachers. She has also studied other forms of dance, done theatre and film work which brings excitement and energy to her performances.Nadirah now resides and teaches in Salisbury, NC.

Her troupe is an eclectic ensemble of varied interests, embracing old and new art forms. African, American Tribal, Egyptian, Turkish and Middle Eastern influences combine to form a unique blend of World Fusion Bellydance.

As both a soloist and with her ensemble group, Nadirah Dance Company provides unique and exciting entertainment suitable for all audiences. Nadirah has performed in a wide variety of venues and is available for performances, private or group lessons and workshops.                                            

       Nascha's BIO: Nascha is NDC's Triibal Teacher and Choreographer.  Nascha has studied under Nadirah for several years, and has also taken various workshops all over the country focusing on the Tribal Fusion style.  While performing with NDC in all aspects, her true love and devotion is to the Tribal Fusion, and it shows in her performances.  Her beautiful graceful movements combined with her percussive isoloations make her a must see on any bellydancer's list!
